Master fabricator Rex Bailey used the Samson™ CNC machine to build the “Yeti” (the abominable snowman), a monster truck that drives through snow more than 3 feet deep. The 76-inch tractor tires, Unimog portal axles, and modified Dodge 3500 Cummins diesel truck are all joined together by custom-designed plates that Rex made with the machine. http://www.samsoncnc.com

one question, whats happens if the snow is 3 1/2 feet deep?

pbdevil13 on 28 September, 2008 at 10:48 am #

damn i want one. and you say its not very strong cuz its a dodge? is that why they put all the good stuff of other companies in their trucks? and is that why everyone does a cummins swap into their gms and fords? barely hear about a powerstroke swap, but u NEVER hear about a dmax swap, thats like going backwards.

bic1457 on 30 September, 2008 at 9:38 pm #

of course not it’s a dodge

lunchboxthewise on 1 October, 2008 at 6:38 pm #

MrRemps on 4 October, 2008 at 9:21 am #

Locker, LOCKER! you would save your self from ever spinning your tires, Makes all 4 spin not the 1 wheel

techusition on 7 October, 2008 at 6:27 pm #

Those wheels and hubs look way too flexible for me to feel safe.

johnsxs on 8 October, 2008 at 6:16 am #

pyrojoe22 on 9 October, 2008 at 4:43 am #

Strogenforcer on 11 October, 2008 at 12:00 am #

MakingBoost on 14 October, 2008 at 6:19 am #

Why does Samson use PlasmaCam controllers… Why wouldn’t we just buy direct from PC?

pagehouse4 on 17 October, 2008 at 1:37 pm #

cjh134414 on 28 October, 2008 at 9:15 am #

god damn i bet that ***** would pull like a **** with them skinny tires and i like the rear-steer

senciz on 31 October, 2008 at 11:08 am #

I hope he does not plan driving at high speeds with that thing. He would loose control in 5 minutes. Have you ever driven a fork lift that has back axle steering. very difficult to control at max speed. So imagine doing over 40 with this thing.

liambaron on 3 November, 2008 at 6:38 pm #

the idea is that it goes straight through, not on top of, snow

305RacingTeam on 5 November, 2008 at 8:40 am #
